What do I get at my Metabolic Measurement appointment?

• 45 minute 1 on 1 consultation session

What makes this work when all the others didn’t for me?  

Before your RMR (resting metabolic rate) Metacheck by Korr Medical Tech. Inc. calibrates the air in the room for 2 minutes. Even though you are resting you are still burning calories. To burn one calorie you use a fixed amount of oxygen. Metacheck will know what you are breathing in and compare it to what you are exhaling. The difference is then converted into calories burned at rest. Metabolisms are like fingerprints they are all different. You will have your own blueprint of what your body requires!

I read that you shouldn’t eat after 7:00 and to avoid carbohydrates. What are Debs Diet rules?

Once tested you will have to forget all that you have ever learned, read, listened to, or heard about dieting. Carbs, fat and protein are just calories. Fiber is great to have but isn’t a unit to measure a calorie. Calories in, calories burned!! It’s as simple as that! Also since you are tested resting you can eat anytime in a 24 hour period. I (Debi Allhands, creator and owner) will not set you up for failure (= rules). If I tell you that you have to take your calories in Milk for x amount of servings, and you hate milk….you feel like your a failure before you  even start! 

What if it doesn’t work for me?

You will be dieting by Science. It will work for you, but only if you work it. Taking the test doesn’t assure weight loss. That is why accountability is so important.

I am not really a  meeting person. Do I have to attend?

You are just the person that I designed my one on one sessions for. We concentrate on you and your needs.

What happens if I have to quit for awhile?

When you are ready you just come back. Your test will still be good.  No paperwork or extra fees. Once mine - always mine!

 What are your age limits for testing?

I have tested people from 9 - 89 years old.

Why do you say you have a radical approach to weight loss?

Actually a client of mine told me that and I like the sound of it. I have a realistic view of weight loss. No one is perfect and I wouldn’t want them if they thought  they were! Sometimes we have to fudge (oops sorry hee hee) on our diet…..it would be really boring if we didn’t. I teach people to be forgiving of themselves. More than likely we will all live in the same place and at the same job this time next year. There  is no reason to be in a rush to drop the weight! Slow and steady wins the race.
